Hello all DP members. I have created some niche sites some days back and building some quality backlinks. I have decided to sell them, but i am think to do that after the page rank update.

Can you make me clear of when is the next page rank update for 2011?

I hope they finna,ly remove PR
I'm sick and tired off all the discussions about PR and the noobs and so called SEO "experts" who talk and make theories about it when it's just a NUMBER NOTHING MORE and Rankings/Traffic are diffrent things with like 0 connexion to PR ...

I think the original question is about the TOOLBAR PR, which is definitely WORTHLESS! So I agree with w3bmaster...to an extent.

Google has a PR algorithm that is not disclosed to anyone but Google employees, this is the PR everyone (SEOs) should worry about. This PR has to do with on-page optimization (up-to-date, quality content), backlinks (quality links, keyword-rich anchor-text), etc and overall authority in whatever niche you are in.

Does Google say when it is going to be, or you are just guessing?

I guess it all depends on google itself, till last year, it was updated every three months. However the last update in January 2011 happened almost after 6 months. So I guess it should be either in the month of April, if not then in June or July.

Having a high PR doesn't mean you are going to get more traffic. Similar sites in your niche can outrank you even if they have a low PR. PR really doesn't matter any more.

Google is mysterious and often give surprises. Wait until Google is not giving its next surprise or just forget about the PR and keep your SEO ongoing to seek traffic.

Yes you are correct. Instead of concentrating PR, better concentrating on SERP..

google is very mysterious, and perhaps take a few months after the update, maybe tomorrow to update, who knows? Of course, in addition to google.
