Hi; I hope this the rigth place to ask this question. I found a domain which is listed dmoz and has a site wide links on a pr 9 web site. and i'm sure it will expire on 2007-08-14. my question is that when that domain will avaible for a new register Thanks for the comment
Why not just email the owner of the domain name and ask him/her if they would consider selling it to you?
Depending on the TLD, domains become available for public registration usually between 2 and 4 months after the expiry date. In this case however, if a domain has sitewide links on a PR9 domain, I would think its unlikely the owner is not going to renew it - my advice would be not to get too excited about the possibility of a domain dropping unless it is at least a week past expiry date - and if its a really good name be prepared for an auction on dropcatcher sites like Pool and SnapNames.
i'm sure it will drop it because the main page is giving 404 error for nearly 1 month and the name is very stupid and difficult to remember but has a pr 9 site wide links and a dmoz listing in fact nobody will care that domain it's a german based registrar
