Well friends, we have always been discussing as to how much we earn from adsense. We always show interest as to how much our counterpart is earning. We always set ourselves a target to achieve as our per day earnings. Some of us have loads of visitors but still the earnings are too less, whereas the result of some websites astonish us since they make a lot of money within just a few visitors dropping in. If you are earning then I must have clicked somewhere to add to your revenue. If I am earning then one of you might have clicked on ads displayed on my website. Have we ever analysed as to 1) how many times do WE click on such ads available on the websites we visit everyday. 2) why do WE actually click - just so that others make money or something attracts us to click on it. Or do we tend to click on adsens ads by mistake ? 3) If we ever click on such ad and visit a website do we really do some business with the advertiser ?? If DP members want to add more questions, pls feel free to do so. I think that if we can analyse our behaviour then we automatically get to know the public behaviour. Once we know that then we can adjust our websites accordingly and thus will start making more money and reach our individual targets [let it be $1 per day or $10,000 per day ] easily.
I dont think I ever click ads unless I thought it was part of the navigation and I got tricked. Its then, I'm glad that for my adwords campaigns, i turn off content ads.
Yes , I hate MFA. When i interested in some ads , I'll think that will i type in the URL or i'll click it. It's 50:50 click/type-url. To stop inflating the advertiser cost. But if i see the small / medium site , or starter site with rich advertiser then I'll click it.
I honestly don't think I've clicked on an Adsense ad in the past year. I'm more inclined to click if the site I find the ad on is worthwhile, but the odds of finding a site with good content and an advert I'm genuinely interested in are surprisingly low. Like most people, I just tune out the ads.
Sometimes I find myself reading the ads because the webmaster blended them so well into their site but I very rarely click.
I only click ads if I'm actively looking to buy something. If not, I'll just paste the corresponding URL into my browser and visit the site that way. Courtesy wise this will prevent wasting a click for the advertiser. Of course, the typical surfer who doesn't have a clue as to what adsense is will be more likely to click even if they're looking to buy something or not.
I find that the longer I have had Adsense, the less I tend to click on ads on any website. Occupational hazard perhaps ??
