Some years for me. I usually manage to talk people down. Two of my neighbours we're about to fight on the stairs/landing a few weeks back but I managed to talk them both into going in doors. Not a bad feat considering one of them was quite drunk. The last time I got into a fight was when a guy tried to head butt me whilst I was entering a supermarket pushing a friends 2 year old in a pushchair. I took the child home to her mother and went to find the guy. He threatened to whip me with his dog lead/chain (which he tried to do) and so I knocked two of his teeth out and for a while he was semi conscious. The ambulance and Police arrived and he decided to go home rather than in the ambulance, and when he had left I approached the Police on the scene and admitted it was me and they told me to go home as they knew him and knew he was a trouble maker and so there was no charge. The only reason I went back for him was the principle of trying to headbutt me while I was in sole charge of a 2 year old, which I got somewhat annoyed by.
Everyone else said it was good to bro, even the single mother of the 2 year old who was my little sisters best friend at the time, hence why I was looking after her and taking her to the shops. The guys Mrs had a bit of a moan at me about messing her partner up a bit until I explained and then even she was OK about it LOL.
Yeah.. I guess it sucks when ya get beat up in front of your woman ESPECIALLY after you provoked the whole incident..lol
