I have just started a blog and I am wondering if I should use google ads right away or wait untill I have good traffic? http://www.ablecures.com What should i do?
I dont think it would hurt so u can just put it up there to make ur site look official if u want. But ur not gonna get anything out of it so I would wait for the traffic first.
Why annoy your first users? If you're not going to be making more than a few dollars a month, why not wait until you have a decent amount of traffic before you start? Or at least until the $$ rolling in are a motivating factor for you. I would say once you're getting 200+ daily uniques is not a bad time to start.
I dont think it will annoy users, people expect ads on pages these days, its what makes the internet go round.
I would wait till some traffic starts coming in. let the users get used to the website, start getting few regulars and some 100+ uniques ..... then put up adds. Adds are annoying
While your reading this can you see any ads? No, but theres one at the top, and thats still an impression, and you do get money for impressions
I can't see any reason why you should not add it right away. What harm can it do? It's not that difficult to add it! Fabian
People who put AdSense right away get kinda disappointed as it doesn't bring any money... but as soon as your traffic increases, $ starts rolling in. There is no real difference between put it right away or later...
You can put the code now. After all, the advertisers are providing complementary information for your readers.
Once you get users... won't they get bothered if you just all the sudden put ads on your blog, if they have been reading it without any ads before? That's happened to me on a forum before...
my worry was that people may be discouraged from reading the blog after they see the ads, and once i get good amount of traffic a few adds won't have that big of an effect.
Well that really depends on how you plan to incorporate your Google Ads. You can be annoying with them or you can be tasteful (and effective). It's up to you.
