When to setup a fanpage? (please read, Help needed)

I have just began my voyage into facebook. I have had a facebook account for about a 1.5 weeks and have around 2k friends at the moment and growing fast.

My question is; When should I setup a fanpage? Now? or should I wait until I have reached 5k friends before setting up the fanpage? Or does it not really matter?

I really need to set one up as well. If possible, I'd set up several.

Why not set one up now, with 2k friends? By the time you get to 5k your fanpage will be better developed.

 

Thats what I thought about doing. Just a little unsure of everything. I don't know much about facebook, fanpages, and monetizing it all. Still learning about it all.

 

Yeah, you can use fbml to set uo your page.

 

nice.. u can set up fans page even with 1k friends and suggest thm and u can get more friends until u setup and fans joins ur page automatically so no issue.. start up soon

Being sooo popular, I am surprised that you did not create a page sooner... you might want to create two fan pages for just in case.

They are premade fan pages for your fan page.
You can get one cheap,and set it up within minutes, with your own content, pictures, etc.

earlier the better, start creating IP on a page, not where you are limited in an acocunt.

 

I would set one up right away! The sooner the better when it comes to a Facebook fan page. Especially if you already have over 2k friends I would make it now. You can send out invites to all those people and you could probably get 1,000 maybe to like your fan page.
