Hey all, I looked this up, but couldn't find the answer. So, here's my question: I'm building my site, and I want AdSense ads to fit nicely into the page. Right now, I'm doing the designing, and preferably, I'd like to add the ads right now, so they fit in the CSS layout. However, there is very little content right now, so I was wondering if it is allowed with AdSense, or will I be kicked out? Thanks a lot!
No, you won't be kicked out for having little content. Some guru's recommend that you wait until you have XXX (I've heard 1000) number of daily visitors to your site before adding adsense though. I've ignored that advice and am making $3 + a day on a site with fewer than 200 visitors a day.
The Adsense program polices state that you cannot place Google ads on any non-content-based pages. If you have content, you'll be okay.
I guess its when you feel comfortbale. The reasons often given for not having it put sooner is because people hesitate in linking to sites that have ads on them. I am not sure if thats totally a valid argument.
Some people feel that it is better to slowly introduce ads after you have established some reliable traffic. I assume this is because they don't want their ads to deter people from visiting their site.
