I was wondering what do you do when someone submits a site and the email bounces do you still take the site or would you just say forget it cause to me I like to know where I am excepted at or not and in looking at the bounced emails 95% where to the same person

Well, if you are not charging for your links, the email is basically the currency. Their email address is given to you in exchange for a link. Think about it. If you do not have an email, you have no ability to contact them or offer new products/services. They got a link with nothing...

Still, nothing is free. The email address is the currency. It should be part of your TOS: no email, no link. :)

If it was a high quality site in a category that needed high quality listings, I'd keep it. After all, you want the directory to have good content.

    Otherwise, I would delete it.

When that happens to me (a lot) it usually is spammers.

    But sometimes it's a typo.

So what I have done a few times is to go to their website and look at their contact info. Sometimes the email is listed and I clearly see the typo and just fix it myself. Otherwise I contact them through their contact form and ask for correct email to be listed. If none of those work then I delete it.

    Thanks.

Delete them, yes spelling mistakes can occur but mostly it is just spam.

I find some of the sites are listed here in DP most are free directory
I added this to my submit guidelines in bold
14.) I will reject all bounced emails, porn sites, gambling sites where you bet, MFA sites.

and will now be going thru and deleting sites whose emails have bounced
