Do you start inner linking to your sub pages right from the start or do you try to just link to your home page... if so how many links to your home page?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I do internal link building whenever i see an opportunity... I have a blog... and sometimes will have links to other relevant articles that I previously wrote...

It is usually more difficult to get links to inner pages than to the home page. So any chance that arises to get respectable "deep links", go for it!

And keep in mind that the various "dofollow" social bookmarking websites are good sources for getting links to your inner pages.
