    Hello.

I own an imagehosting site that started getting some really nice traffic and increasing each day. currently it's at 3000-3500 Unique visitors a day
I currently run the site on a Managed VPS wich you can se the details of bellow. so far it can handle it. No huge server loads, not running out of memory etc, and site hasent slown down to much under the traffic. However, im now wondering when i should upgrade to a dedicated server? should i do it right away? or run with the VPS for a bit longer ?

    OS: Centos

    Bandwith: 550GB

When you can face to high load, slower performance. Usually, those commands can help: "top", "free -m". As your VPS can still handle the loads, why paying more to get dedicated server? A fully managed server is not cheap, at least $250/month

Yes gate2vn is correct. I think you can use it till you get some slower performance. When you see memory usage like 80% or so in your VPS, if you have an upgrade option to add more memory or other resources, go with that. Only move on to a dedicated when you see that it cannot run in a vps setup.

Well, a VPS plan can be expanded in terms of ram, space, etc. Just like everyone has said, if you do end up needing to switch because of performance or over-load, then it might be time to switch to a dedicated, or like I had mentioned upgrade your current VPS.
