When should I tell the wife?

i have't got experience of a wife yet but i think better to inform her early!

 

Exactly! No way I'm getting her 'involved' and interested in computers. If I could rig my seat with an ejection mechanism, I might ... hehe.

Huh? What's he got to do with this? Has he bought a new computer as well? Oh, you mean me? Heh. Of course you did. I knew that.

I'm a bit worried about chaffing. Does it work well with your wife, Rob? Any pictures?

That's option #1 been and gone. Haven't told her yet.

 

Thats some solid piece of advice from some one who seems to be experienced
I still remember my x Girl Friend was once telling me on how to get a gal.. and that were some very genuine words...

Nah. That's Mella-speak for; "You scumbag! How dare you order something without consulting your better-half? She has a right to be consulted!!! Before you do anything!!! Men are bastards!!!" ... or something to that effect.

 

Better tell her after it arrives and donnt forget to tell us what surprise u got in return..

 

I suggest that you tell her about it as soon as possible.

i say bite the bullet and tell her the moment you see her - that way you don't have to fret all day.

i have only one suggestion - start practising looking guilty - she'll probably make less of a fuss if she ses that you're already suffering...

 

Seriously, tell her now before it's too late. You must have needed it, but do you really want to have a relationship where you both sneak behind each others back to buy something you need/want? You're setting a dangerous precedent, when you should be operating as a team.

Include your wife in your financial decisions/large purchases, unless you want her hitting the jewelry store/mall without consulting you. After all why should she ask you first when you went ahead and bought the computer without including her?

 

Put it off as long as possible. That's a couple extra days that you don't have to listen to her nagging at you

 

Tell her, i bought it for you!!! Surprise!! Surprise!!

On a serious note, mention you got it dirt cheap, deal just had 15 mins left to expire and i instantly saved $500 or something on the system. Works for me.

I think it may however still result in a swift kick to the nads when he tells her.

That's such a great solution, just make sure she isn't the one kicking you out of the house or she'll get a nice new computer. =P

 

I personally like the , Just dont tell her and say "what? " when she does notice
