When should I apply for adsense?

I just finished making my first website and I was wondering when I could consider applying for adsense. Currently, I'm getting around 10-15 unique visitors per day if that helps and I think my site is probably about a month old. It's a site that creates MLA citations for you. When should I apply for adsense? What should I do/ look for to know when to apply? If you want to look at my site, its http://www.weswave.com/

    Thanks for the help!

Okay. I had never heard that you had to wait a certain amount of time, except in some countries outside the U.S. I thought adsense just checked your content

The site has the simple purpose of creating citations. If I added more pages of citation formats, would that increase the amount of content? What else could I do to put more content on the site?

I never got rejected for it and my site was totally basic and not very old. I think it's worth applying, especially if you havn't done anything shifty with getting visitors or whatever

Try signing up with another company like adsense, when you see that your getting regular ad clicks and around 5+ months then apply for the real thing which is adsense.

You should apply whenever you have 6 or more pages of content up. Make sure to have privacy policy in the footer.

Now if your site gets rejected. Keep adding content 1-2 pages a week and then apply again a 2-3 weeks later.

A form that turns user input into something just for that user (ie, a citation) isn't content. So I don't think your odds are good of getting an adsense account - but you might as well try anyway.

Adding a few pages about the history of citations, or a couple of how-to's on how to correctly cite *as well as* your citation generators would probably get you over the line. Don't forget the privacy policy and an about me page, one is essential and the other one is just helpful :)

For a serious project, I would wait until having at least 1000 visitors/day maybe more, then apply for AdSense. Adding AdSense with 10-15 visitors/day will result in very low earnings. Having no AdSense on a new website will improve the user experience and this could lead to a better natural promotion (links, returning visitors, etc) from the new visitors.

Applying for adsense means working like having a real job. It is not like that create a website, post any content you want and then apply just to earn a couple of bucks per month, you will surely get rejected. Google only accepting websites with really helpful content with the visitors. And the thing you must think is HOW TO HELP OTHERS? WILL THEY LOVE THE CONTENT OF MY WEBSITE? WILL I REALLY BE A BIG HELP TO THEM? by posting really helpful article/content in your website.

Do not wait that 6 months without doing anything to your site, consider your website like a real job and you will surely get success.

I am not trying to just post random content to make a couple dollars per month. My site is actually very helpful for me, other students and teachers to correctly produce MLA style citations. This is my first website, so I didn't even know what adsense was when I started, I was just tired of using other sites that give you incorrect citations so I wanted to make a correct resource for other people like myself because I knew it would be appreciated.
