When shared=>VPS

    I am using Bluehost.com for shared and they are excellent. But I guess I do not use a lot of resources since I have 5 websites on one hosting. Only one is a fun portal with forum and gallery. Other are simple.
    My question: How many sites do You have on a shared hosting? I am planing to start a new one and I am scared that it won't handle it. I don't want to move.
    Why do you use VPS and how do you know when is the time to move?
    It is still a little expansive. Can't afford it.

    What are the best VPS hosts?

    When your shared hosting account starts reaching its limit on disk space or bandwidth, then you should switch to a VPS or if your host is saying you're using too much CPU.

    When you start using sites with a lot of dynamic content, media heavy, things which take up RAM and CPU.

    Otherwise just stay on shared hosting if it is static content.

    problem is, bluehost has "unlimited" disk space, so it would be hard to know if your filling up to much disk space.
    It should handle it i would think, VPS is alot better uptime, and some even cost only $15 a month, just double bluehost's cost!

    VPS is host for big data like multimedia, music, warez site...
    So if you have big data and make empty your disk space you must use VPS...:)

    Hey!
    Sometimes VPS is not next step. I believe that you have forgotten about reseller accounts. Reseller account is your next step. That have more opportunities then shared web host and less expensive then VPS.
    I would recommend you have a look at sharkspace.com reseller hosting. It might be good (even the best solution for you)

    After shared hosting I'd suggest you to move on to a VPS and not reseller coz with reseller the added advantage is that you can resell and you might get extra GB of disk space and bandwidth but with VPS you would get full root access, dedicated resources, equal share CPU, privacy and isolation. A VPS would give you more reliability and room to expand.

    the problem is I do not have any experience with vps. I have with shared and conluded bluehost and lunar are ok. There is a lot of bad hosts for shared and probably even more with vps. So how can I find a good one, since I don't like moving, how can I trust any hostinng since it is all bussines now . All of You offer me hosting.
