    I just don't understand this stuff or something........ but everytime my RPC rises my clicks plummet, I have seen this for months. Is it normal ? For instance here are a couple actual days:
    RPC .35 clicks = 25
    RPC .30 clicks = 33
    RPc .95 clicks = 9

    This is not a few times, it's a pattern like that for months. How does that actualy work ?

    Sometimes I think YPN and Adsense just decide on a general average earnings for a site, and balance the RPC accordingly.

    The same happens to me with both YPN and Adsense.

    What a difference a year makes!

    no. that is not right for ypn. you rpc drops with more clicks because ypn displays higher paying ads first. so, the first set of clicks are from higher paying advertisers. as you get more, you (and your competitors) eat up the "budgets" of these higher paying ones and they are replaced by lower paying ads and so on. your numbers are kind of low to fully explain my point but here is an example;

    first 50 clicks - avg rpc = .50
    next 50 clicks - avg rpc = .35
    next 50 clicks - avg rpc = .20
    and so on.

    obviously the number 50 is meaningless. it could be 1 or thousands. if you want to fully test this out on your own, you can do so by changing the channel code throughout the day on a given site / page. what you will find is what i have exampled above.

    i have even found niches whose rpcs drop extremely after an "approximate certain" number of clicks. what i found in this case was that google was paying more for the clicks after this "threshold". so, in my case, i run ypn until i reach this "threshold" and then switch the page to google to keep my earnings as high as possible.

    have fun.
