If I wanted to purchase links on a site, what are some of the things I should look for? I have read that there shouldnt be more than 20 outbound links on that page. It seems that most of these blog rolls have at least that many, but it appears that people are still purchasing them, what should I do? Also, If I wanted to have someone put an article on their blog roll, should it be unique? and how does that help? If someone is advertising many blog rolls, Is it better to have them put unique articles on each blog? I want good quality links. I purchased a blog roll from someone and thay had several different blogs, but I had them use the same article on each blog, it hasn't seemed to help me much for SEO. Also should I be using different keywords on each article, or is it ok to ga after the three I'm interested in, in each article? Hope I made since. Thanks for your help.
Purchase links only for traffic, never for SEO. Otherwise you're wasting your money. Only purchase nofollow links, or scripted ones, or ones on noindex/nofollow pages. Otherwise the Google Punishment will come your way sooner or later. And I don't know about you, but I don't need to pay someone idiot here to get me banned from Google. If I wanted that, I could do it myself for free.
Spread your eggs around don't put them in one basket, sponsor a nice template, buy some blogroll links (30 or less on a page is ok), buy content links, blog posts, featured links in directories, go for regular or featured listings in niche directories, have articles written or write them, submit to social bookmarking sites, buy forums signatures and use your own,
Buy contextual links because there with then the content they get no better then that. Also don't buy links from spam networks such as advertising saying they have 100 links for 2 dollars generally its spam network and you won't get no link juice from them.
Most certainly contextual links are the best. Your best bet is to buy them from a well established broker, so therefore you know your money is being invested into the right place and you will get results.
Never buy links from someone who is openly advertising the URLs they are selling links or sponsored blog posts upon. This information should come via private channels (i.e. PM or email) before you pay.
Wrong. As guys have said, good links = targeted traffic + great increase in rankings. Check out what SEOmoz experts say if you don't believe me So I'd suggest that you watch for the following: - topical relevance of the linking site to your niche (the same with specific pages linking to you) - better choose oneway links, and yes, a brief description or context surrounding your link is preferred - check that the sites have unique IPs (at least C class) - choose ANCHOR based on the keywords for which you need to promote your site, and concentrate on it for some time, then change for another one - don't count much on offers like "50000 links in one day"; that would not only be of little value, but could even do harm - give preference to older domains - make sure that the sites linking to you have a limited No of external links for better link juice... These were some major guidelines. If you need a PM consultation, I think I can help Good luck, Annie
you should buy Links for PR + Targetted traffic and if possible affiliate sales as well. Like most of them said do not buy who openly advertises url you shuld do them through Private channels.
Although I do spread my 40+ sites out over a few different ip's this is mostly a myth and there has never been any proof that this causes problems. Most likely the real danger is when you inter-link your own sites, if they are all on the same ip it makes it that much more obvious. I think it is safe for you to have multiple links from the same ip, as long as not all of them or a majority are from the exact same one.
buying blog post can give you related and permanent links. for example, if you have a health related site, you can buy blog article on a health related blog. you write the article with your link in it and owner of the blog submits it. that give you permanent related backlink. there are lot of people offering that service, but be careful when you buy. some offer posting your article on 900 blogs or more. make sure all the blogs are not on a same IP. also, if you buy any service like that, make sure they offer article spinning cause you don;t want your same article to be posted on 900 blogs or more. better to use some small blog network and use few networks with different article. also, social bookmarking helps and its free also (unless you are paying someone for doing that).
With the recent introduction of paid link penalties, it is likely wise to play Google's game, according to the rules of Google, rather then a 3rd party (no matter how reputable they are). While the rules you gave from SOEmoz are very good guidelines, it's also likely advised to make sure that your "paid links" are within the guidelines of Google, assuming you wish to keep your good SERP. So that does include what Alexander has said:
