When plugging to see if a keyword is good into overture, wordtracker use exact match?

    When you guys are searching for keywords for SEO, not for adwords...

    Do you use exact match, broad, or phrase?

    Doesn't it make more since when you have like 3000 choices of keywords and trying to narrow down to the useful ones by plugging the exact match into google, overture, and wordtracker (free version) opposed to using a broad search?

    I would use exact match

    as it would show up more results associated with it

    exact match, you can then target better.
