When Paypal start to ask PAN card for Indian Users? Anyone Remeber the exact date?

    PAN card is compulsory for Indian users to open an PayPal account. Anyone remember when payapal opened this option?

    I think it was in early March 2010. My partner added his on 8th March 2010

    No it was introduced in early 2009, I remember since I got an email stating that its mandatory. I happily verified with my credit card & input my pan no.
