    MSN is a guy?

My guess (and it's nothing but a guess) is that we start to see some limited beta testing by the end of this year. They're still building up their base of advertisers which will have to be substantial for their Adsense like program to be worth while.

That would be my guess too, have to have the advertisers all sorted first before they will need to expand their advertising distribution network. As they will have enough traffic to their search engine at the moment.

I have a feeling that Microsoft will have great succes with their adsense like program. They sure have big base of potential advertisers. Maybe even bigger than google has.

    hehe no way!
If their code would be as buggy as all windows versions, it'll be asking you if you're sure you want to see the ads, every time page is loaded :D

Well as we all know windows os is not perfect and i don't really like it and use linux whenever I can it is still the fact that majority of computers have Windows installed. So why not majority of advertisers to go with Microsoft. Afterall Microsoft is a lot bigger player in computer business than google, with a lot more resources. I am not saying they are better than google ;)

in business terms they do have longer and well established relationships. However its usually say the marketing department who make the decisions and they will want results. They will need to deliver results (value for money) over and above google to be successful, especially as google has the larger market share.

Google is successful and established already and a great company, but I am sure a lot of companies trust Microsoft too ;)

I am not saying Microsoft will be better than Google in this kind of business but they will sure be serious competition and competition is always good.

Yeah, microsoft could expand its publishing network through an adsense type program that beats googles through offering a larger piece of the pie, which would be great for us webmasters.

How do you know when a company grown out of size and are not the small little good company it used to be. I was been payed back VAT beucase google took VAT from my credit card even if google.uk say they should not. That was the most complicated thing i everdone with a internet company and paying back took me maybe 20 letters. They start sounding like PAYPAL and have loads of staff that gives you "already in the website for you to read answers" not going after the real problem. But just wasting your time with have your checked your credit card??? No i will get an check that i need to pay loads of money to take out sent to me for some VAT i never should have paid in the first place. But sure they are better then Paypal and Ebay support but i hope they educate there staff quicker then now.
