When looking for a good niche to put adsense on...

    So I've been trying to find some good niche markets to make a website on and place adsense on also. Need some help for what to look for, what should be the monthly searches, competiton, and average cpc be? Thanks for any advice

    I'd advice to target popular topics for plain people, not webmasters or technically minded people.

    correct but for people new to being a webmaster it is a hard niche to crack into, i would concentrate on untouched / low numbers when looking for a niche, learn the ropes and save your money for a bit and purchase an established Mortgage or Finance site.

    You can try Google Trends. It shows how often a particular search term is entered in the SE relative the total search volume across various regions of the world. This may give you some ideas what are the most popular search today in the world.

    Go to google keyword external tool and search for the keywords that bring more traffic in a month and chose a niche relevant to that keyword.
