    Nah, I'd say it's about the same. The biggest decider in cars and tastes is income and wealth; whether that indirectly correlates to a specific party is another story though.

    No, I think he means between SUVs or Compacts maybe, and I think the deciding factor is just personal taste. Almost anybody in the US can get any car they want.

    Yea, that was what I'm saying...typically the guy driving the old beater sedan makes less money than the guy driving the $45,000 land yacht. Now overall, there may be a correlation in that Republicans make on average more money than Democrats, and hence drive the bigger cars, but I've never seen evidence to this, so I don't want to perpetuate this stereotype without some hard numbers.
