Hey guys I wanted to know a few things hopefully you can answer me 1) When is the next Google PR update? If anyone knows when they noticed a change please tell me when you noticed and the last time you checked 2) What is the tmeframe before google sends it's crawler to your site and gets indexed? Reasons why I ask is because it has been almost two weeks and nothing is showing up on my Google Webmasters account. I've submitted a sitemap, robots.txt and I've submitted it to the "Add a site" function that Google has to the public. The site has everything and I simply want it to show up at least by the name and that's not even happening. I have my site, ThisXcell. I've done nothing to it and it showed up on google the following day, is there any reason for this? I'm trying to get this resolved as soon as possible. BTW: Is there a way to see if I have been blacklisted from SE(Google,Bing,Yahoo)?
PR is updated constantly. You just dont see the new number until they update it, so its not really important SEO wise when the next update is. As for when it actually is, nobody knows. If your site showed up on google the following day, then it already is indexed. Start building links and all the inner pages will be crawled aswell.
Google updates PR 4-5 times in a year,so according ti the last PR update you can calculate the predicted update.
Well the problem is that the project that I'm working on ATM is not getting picked up on Google and I've submitted all the information almost two weeks ago and nothing has happened...Is this strange or is this simply the process. This has never happened to me before and it's kinda ticking me off....:-X I really don't understand what I did wrong....does Google have a blog that is based off there SE?
my last PR update was on 1 Feb 2010 and again the update will happen i think so on march last week ..
If you want your website to get indexed, you need to try building some backlinks so Google will notice you. A good way of getting indexed initially is to submit your website to Digg.com, that normally helps.
Yes - http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com and the Head of Spam, Matt Cutts, has his own blog http://www.mattcutts.com/blog
submiting page to social bookmarking sites usually does the thing. I was waiting and waiting and nothing happened, when i submitted to digg in few hours google visited my page
