Google update PR everyday; occasionally they export a meaningless historical representation of that internal PR to the toolbar for us to be amused with.

Moderators: Can I suggest that threads like this get banned; there are so many of them and its gets tiresome. How many are on this page already?

People obsess over PR way too much, IMO.

Don't over-focus on it... concentrate on getting good quality visitors, not PR.

 

These are useless and fake tool...

I think, google update quality sites frequently, so don't bother for update, just give your best result

 

There are some good things PR update has:
- with the pr update your site gets reevaluated, your SERP's rearanged ..
- if your PR grows your adsense CPC gets higher, people will contact you for linking (money will come)
- PR update takes place at 3-4 month period

There seems to have been a minor update- two of my sites jumped from PR3 to PR4 last sunday. And it still remains!

I think will be soon, anyway i want to build more links for the next PR

 

i guess google is currently updating PR cuz i cnt see any PR..nor with google toolbar or seoquake addon....plz chk guyz

 

I agree, people obsess way too much on PR. Getting good ranking in the SERPS is what you want. that is where the visitors are. SERPS update constantly.

Anybody has list of past dates whenever google updated their PR.
I suppose they have updated PR 10 times since launch
