ssandecki, I and those DP posters who actually understand PR are thoroughly aware that PR is not a whole number. My home page's "PR5" (in the example I gave) might actually be a PR4.6 or a PR5.4 in Google's internal calculations. I referred to the PR5 in the "toolbar export", which is always a whole number. I also understand, as many don't seem to, that PR changes are thought to be logarithmically calculated, rather than being a straight-line graph. So I reassert what I said in the earlier post. If I was PR5 in the previous toolbar export (always a whole number) and also in the next toolbar export, then the chances of my daily, internal PR in between exports being notably different from that PR5 is very slim, as any readers with an undertanding of logarithmic calculation will easily apprehend. I do understand PR, and I also have studied and understand statistics.
mostly they do it quarterly but the last time google made an update was a month ago. i hope it wont happen again
