When Is The Next PageRank Update?

I am New to this forum. I hope I will have a nice time in this forum.
Is there anyone in this forum to let me know, When google is going to update it's next PR. Last day I saw one of my Pr4 Site Was shown Pr1 on the google Toolbar.
Does Exccessive Mass linking is good. Actually I have bought a lot of links in the last week for my Directory.

No one ever knows when the next PageRank update will be -- unless you work for google.

 

Supposdley it was like a week and that whole week it was down they only did about 20% of what they want to do..I may be wrong with those numbers but friend of a friend works at google.

 

JESUS forget about client facing page rank it is just a ghost, it is meaningless.

 

Pagerank updates are aprox. once every three months. Monitor your last update date, and you'll see the APROX. next update date.

Google really messed aout thinking with the last update, so there's no point to really predict anything .

 

Google update page rank constantly on a rolling update. It is ONLY the client side PR value that is changed periodically. This update will have NO EFFECT WHATSOEVER on your positions in the serach pages, as it is a snapshot in time, not a representation of the true value of your page.

Unless you are selling links PR should not matter, forget it, and focus on traffic and conversions, as that is what a business is built on.

 

Well, PR matters if you are in the Co op, but i get your point. It's really not all that big a deal these days.

 

I have to agree with that, one of my coop sites PR went down and so did my traffic, big time.

Another site I have in the coop (PR5) normally has steady traffic but every time there is a weight validation problem the traffic gets cut in 1/2.....so yes Pagerank is very important.

It's also an important part of the process of placing a $ value on a site if you are looking to buy.....or sell one.

Id say next month... The last one was quite quick or was it just me?

Those are just estimates based on observations made on past updates.

 

My bet would go on the period from October 15th to November 15th. This will be 3+ months from the previous PR update.
