When is the next google page rank update?

Hi can anyone tel me when the next pr update might be? And on wat reasons do google calculate page rank?? pl i m a newbie here

 

No one can give you exact date or time when will be next google update because Google update Pagerank every 3 months.

google regularly update the PR for every 3 months

 

I think the next PR update will be happen in the July or august as Gogole update the PR after every three months, only four times in a year. So after April now it will get updated in the July or august.

 

PR has no time limits and has no specific span for each data center. Sometimes i observed having PR crawled within two months, but in 2008 it took around 2 PR crawls in whole year.

 

i can't be certain about when Google updates his database or nobody can. It's up to Google

 

Actually nothing can be declared exactly, because no such indication has been seen from the Google, and It is never declared officially by Google. So It's typical to say about it. As other members are saying, there is no specific criteria of Google for PR updation.

But It may be from 30th june to 7th July 2010 in my opinion.

And it is just an assumption, I am telling you that is based on the previous Google PR updations. So it may be.

I hate google 3 months update time, BUT this is still not sure.

From what I have read Google is quite sneaky and keeps this a secret. So, just sit back and check every other week or so. When it happens you will be happy.

 

Actually this is not not sure now like previous, it will happened in 3 months. In past time we have noticed that it was done twice in 3 month or ones in 6 months. So no one can predict the actual date of that.

 

To answer your second question, pagerank is affected directly by backlinks (and only links).

 

Actually It's not true that PR is only an only affected by the back links. There are various other major factors to assign a page rank to your page. I have seen just 2 or 3 back links of a site and having 2 pr and on other side I have send more back links from 2 or 3 and there is also 2 pr. So it is said by the experts who believe in Google Algos that there are other major factors also that is counted while assigning the Page Rank to your website.

 

i think there is no specific date for it,that process continuously done thrice an year

 

the last google pr was update at april 2010, so it means around this day it will happen

 

you cant be certain about google updates..

 

And strange, still now I have not seen any updation.

When it will be happened, in this month or in the coming month, nothing is sure.

That was just an assumption, but not happening something on the sites right now.

 

Google has had a lot of work lately, YaHoo is suppossed to start using BING (unconfirmed) Facebook just announced it is launching facebook engine, a search engine.
Who knows what is really going on. What we know for certain is APRIL 2nd was the last fully confirmed Google PR update, we also know that june 3 and 4 a small PR dance of NA going to zero happened, even rumour of some sites going from PR 2 or 3 going to NA. The unconfirmed, unofficial update based on past updates suggested that june 30 - july 7 would be an update..........now that thats past ITS ANYONES GUESS!!!!
