When is the dollar rate expected to rise?

Hi

Any idea when the dollar rate will increase ?
The current exchange rate at Paypal is 42.85. So, I was wondering if I should withdraw now or wait for sometime.

Dollar rate is currently at low and its not going to be up in near future. I think its gonna drop further down. So its better you should withdraw now.

 

If anyone could predict that with certainty, they could make millions. Holding on to it is nothing more than gambling - which if fine if you are willing to take the risk.

 

Dollar rate going down day by day and this is very bad news for us. In the international market dollar rate is still 45 in comparison of Indain rupees but I dont know why paypal giving us low rate of dollar.

 

It's hard to say..How much do you have?

 

It fluctuates every second of the day albeit very small movements but predicting how it will move long term as someone else has mentioned if you knew for certainty you would be one of the richest people on the planet.So the answer to your question is no one has a clue

 

Yes it fluctuates the whole time, but Paypal updates their exchange rates two times per day, so there is some stability within Paypal. And Paypal protect themselves from ever losing money by adding a certain security limit on the exchange rates, since they are just updating them twice per day. And also, because they can, you either use their service and put up with the rates or you are free to go out and find some other payment processor for your online business.

 

Since the stock market is doing very well... it is but natural that INR would remain weak. FII's seem to be pumping in huge dollars in the Indian stock markets and so there appears no respite in the rupee conversion rate... at least in the very short term!

I wish it goes up as soon as possible. But it has not touched 50 from several months I think. May be one year.

I do not think it will rise up in near future looking at the market but you never know.

Its not going to rise anything more than 0.05$ - 0.07$ .
And 50$ will happen may be after 2020 again. Indian market is doing very well right now (not for me) and im sure, it wont get to 45 INR also, in next 2-3 years.

 

U.S stock markets have collapsed overnight and Indian stock market is expected to collapse here as well! If that does happen, expect the conversion rate to go above 43... today itself!

When I withdrawed My money from paypal, It was 43.xx Not remembering it accurate..!

Well.. i thought i could have atleast got a 45..!

I too think its going down day by day.. so better make the transactions now

Or wait some long time and withdraw when the things are back..!

 

With Greece and Portugal crisis, expect stock markets world wide... to get hammered. There is no harm in waiting for a day or two... to get little better conversion rate!

No one can predict. but I hope that dollar goes up.

 

Sensex closed today at the lowest level in about 2 months and so expect dollar rate to show some improvement... for today and tomorrow!
