When is the alexa rankings, backlinks, and pr updated

yes well topic says it all when does it??

 

not really sure... i don't rely on alexa that much.. since its not that accurate..

 

backlinks are updated via google webmaster tools and it depends on how frequently you update your contents and how long it takes for spiders to visit your site again. PR update takes 2-3 months between each updates (normally).
Alexa updates my ranking every 4-5 days and it is because my visitors are increasing everyday.

 

I have been seeing Alexa update on a daily basis but it seems to be 1-2 days delayed. Backlinks just updated!!! PR just did too for a lot of sites but not for me..oh well PR isnt that important anymore..but nice to have!

 

It will not be that fast to update everyone's site. However i do noticed that a number of sites experienced a drop in PR because of some text links ads such as text-links.com, Text Links Ad Here, Place your text links ad here and many more. Google seem to rebuild their algorithm to go down on paid text links. Remove them before you get penalized too. Use a more general phrase such as Be Our Friends, Share your site here, Expose your site. Sounds better?

 

If your site is in the 100,000 most visited, you should get an update in 1-2 days.

 

i just got a PR update -

Alexa i don't think is correct. My alexa rank is a lot better than many sites in my niche that get a lot more traffic than I do.

 

it varies, and no one's really sure, various sites specify it takes from 1 to 3 months
