Can i view a sample of the blog, I'm thinking if you think your blog is good and have great information. I think you should waste no time at all but to have it public.

Don't wait. You should start promoting your blog right away after you have a couple of contents on your blog.

As long you have a few good points to the blog, should not waste time but to get it out there, you can always edit it as you go on. One thing is, getting traffic onto website/blog take lot and lot of times

    Start promoting it right away.

The sooner you start, the more of a loyal reader following that you'll have.

You really just need to get your name out there. Bumper Stickers, Business Cards, Flyers etc... Things in print tend to do well. People think its more solid. Not some flack stuff online. You can also post free image ads of your logo here

Dont wait for too long but do wait a while. You dont want people coming over and then have nothing to show. Write around 10-20 posts, clean up the layout, add some pictures and make everything look attractive and then start promoting.

If you have something to offer readers then you should be safe to begin promoting. What that magic number is up to you to decided.

Just promote - if you do it the normal way, it will take some time before you're able to build up a readership anyway. By which time you will have many more posts...

    yes as early as possible.

actually you don't wish your audience read 200+ posts at a time. you want to zero them in and provide 2-3 posts with great value per week.

    so do it now

for online promotion find do follow blogs and develop backlinks. you can build original content so that when anyone visits your site, i your content is original he will quote as reference on their site. Which will work as a backlink and will do a huge difference without effort. forum signatures are also valuable. you can also go for offline marketings as well. Keep a marker, pen or more preferably a Seal... and whenever you have time in public place; on bus or in a market, bus stop. on news paper articles and other places you can put your site name and 1 line description with it.... this one time effort will give you fare amount of direct...traffic....at least.

You can actually start it once you have 20~30 posts (of course not only 1 or 2 posts). This is fine because you are updating it time to time while you are promoting it

It will take 6 months to a year before Google gives your blog any credibility in their search results; so you might as well start promoting it right away on your own.
