When i share a post from my fan page why does my profile name show up?

    rather than my fan page name.
    I'm fairly new to FB and this part really confuses me.
    This is the same when I "invite" anyone who likes my fan page posts to like my fan page, my "invite" comes from my profile, so the invited must think, "hang on, who is this" (as it's my own name rather than anything to do with my fan page)

    Is there a workaround fro these problems?

    Also, whilst on FB subject, why can't I share a post to other groups?

    Yes, but my FB profile is simply my own name, it has no bearing on my fan page, and it's my fan page I'm trying to get followers for!

    There is an option to choose, you can choose to post as your business page, or as personal account.

    In the posting window or when you share, there is a small icon with an arrow. Click on it and you will be able to choose.

    For inviting people I guess there's no way to invite as a page, only through personal account.
