Add your site 2*PR5 backinks to gain your site Pagarank of PR4 back.Make sure that the 2*PR5 backlinks are not removed to sustain your sites Pagerank of 4 :)

don't worry, I know exactly what happen but first please let us know what did you do to your site in that 4 days, did you redirect it to another URL ? Did you let it down for 4 days or did you put a maintenance page on the main page of your site ?

google PR update seems to have recently started, I did not have a lot of websites have a PR update, and soon, but has little to do with the ranking seems

Does your organic traffic and ranking affected too? In times like this, all you can do is gain few strong backlinks from well-indexed sites to make your site indexed more often..

These kind of things really suck. In your case I am not sure if your PR can be restored or not. Google revisits the PR of every site every 4-5 months and by that time hope there is nothing else wrong with your site. You can never tell with Google. Some people flourished after Panda and the others... well this is not the place.
