    I installed wordpress and use it as my website.

    Took about 6 days to get indexed, with 3 pages including main page, contact us
    and privacy pages and 4 blog posts.

    I also install a wordpress plugin that will update my sitemap to Google,
    yahoo, msn, ask.com whenever i make a new post.

    Sometimes it takes time for a site to get indexed. Put up a link on a forum and in no time, Google will index your site. Patience is a virtue. :D

    Google usually take weeks to index new sites, try adding your site to your DP signature as it may help a lot.

    I observed the default blog indexing takes every 15 days, though depends on the content and frequent changes you make your content. As a matter of thumb rule, you can expect 15 days gap for your new websites
