When Google Update

Hello DP members,

did you have any idea about google PR update actually i m waiting from last 4 months for PR my current PR is 0 did you know how much i can get PR after updating??? i have alot of works for my sites

 

Seochat.com has a few tools to check your PR and future pr on different google datacenters. Try there. But once your PR updates nothing happens but a change in numbers on the toolbar so it is quite useless.

 

Can't say for sure when it will happen or what impact it will have on your site. If you have been regularly adding quality content, building up links, and maximizing your keywords, you should receive a decent page rank when the next update hits.

 

Bulding content and optimizing on-site has no influence on PR and that is one reason why it is incorrect. Building content has alot to do with how a site ranks.

 

Links Links Links! Page rank isn't worth alot anyway, youd be better spanding your time trying to get visitors to your site rather than trying to get page rank

 

Cant say surely but i think it will in third week of december.

 

There is about 10 threads regarding the next update. If you look through all of em, it looks to be around January..but then again who really knows??

Who cares? An update has never hurt me and I achieve higher rankings all the time so they don't help me any.

 

I wish they updated more often

 

pr is a bonus, when you want to exchange links with other webmasters, they will not check your ratings or serps, they will check your PR.

 

I remember a comment (some time ago) from Matt Cutts on his blog that he didn't expect a new pr update this year.

 

It depends on the sites where you have build your links.

 

Im guessing it will be the ~ first week 1-7 ~ the update hits, Happy New Year!

My directories were also to New so they got skipped last time

Between now and hell freezing over (is there an echo in here?).

 

I guess it will be by the end of this month. But does PR and getting out of sandbox affect / increase traffic from google search engine? From the sound of things it seems like its more for your ego and bragging rights ?

 

Good god I hope its after this weekend, thats when I plan on creating and launching a new website.

there is no answer for this questions. only google knows this answer.

 

Exactly, I'm surprised you guys are so soft on these people... tell them to use the fucking search tool.
