Google is constantly assessing the number of backlinks that a website has. They typically only update the PageRank toolbar once per quarter.

    Hi,

I think Google would update PR of sites and pages every 3 months according to your page contents and backlinks.

    Have a nice day,

And remember — only pages, not websites, have PageRank.

    So does the PR.
I have seen regular changes in PR across my network of websites.

They do not update PageRank on any particular day, at any particular time, or for any particular reason. They are completely periodic and usually unpredictable.

The update for the inner pages had already started from last week of June. Now only the homepage and the official announcement of pagerank update is remaining, which might happen anytime from now to the end of July.

According to my observation since the last few years, in the summer times PR updates take more than 3 months. For example in the 2009 summer the update took around 5 months if I don't remember falsely. But between december and march the updates tend to be more frequent, 1-2 month.

    From Jim4767
On the one hand, that's a very good point--true also. People talk about having a PR 4 website, when they really mean that their website has a homepage with a PR of 4. On the other hand, SEO Moz, has shown that the blog's homepage PR is actually a pretty good proxy for the website itself.

There is no definite time period/schedule regarding PR update. It can be twice or even more than that in a single month. Only , you can notice the change in your website.

Well, we can't say exact wording about it because it's totally depends on the Google's rules and regulations that how and when it updates algorithm and some times some sites gets a good page rank with some reputed back links while some times some sites didn't get any good page rank with some any effective back links so all you need is to focus on your activities so that you can get a good ranking in the SERP's of the Google search engine...
