most of the people we kill in Iraq are probably better off dead. But they are only that way because of what they were taught as children and the propaganda they've been exposed to. You'd be surprised just how much society plays a role in how you think. For example, the consensus among Native tribes in Alaska is that women like Marylin Monroe are considered ugly - they would much rather have a large, fleshed-out, reticent, and dark-skinned mate than a bubbly, toned woman. And if something THAT basic to human thinking can vary from region to region and culture to culture, anti-american sentiment can easily flourish with enough anti-american propaganda or hatred amongst relatives. That's one sad truth of our times - of all of our times.
