If you're not looking to get a backlink from the article, use Articles Base. If you need a do-follow directory with good PR, use Go Articles. Or you could always make the article more informative so it gets accepted. I know EZA can be a pain with how they accept articles, but it's worth a shot to redo it a little bit and see if they take it.
I guess I am lucky that none of my articles have been rejected yet from ezine. However if any article gets rejected, better to post it to some high rank article directories like Go, prfocus, seenation.
I will post in goarticles, articlebase, squidoo, weebly, vox.. However, I will post it to my site first and I MAY not tweak the article before submitting to other article directories. For me, I like to submit articles to ezinearticles and squidoo because of the traffic that I receive.
Hi Dmak, Getting articles to fit what Ezine -- or article publishers and directories in general -- is looking for can be tricky. Often something will get rejected for a small but noticeable error, like subheadings added incorrectly, formatting issues with paragraph breaks, too many links, or too-obvious advertising. There are a lot of little things to look out for. At Content Crooner we have a lot of useful guidelines on these available, and we also make sure every article is cleared by our team of article coaches before it goes to automated distribution -- that way you have a chance to fix the problems that would get it rejected before it actually gets to the directories.
Anywhere but Ezines. Of all the article directories, Ezine is the only one that is strict about original content and actually checks articles properly. All other directories will take almost any genuine articles.
Usually I post it to my landing page - squidoo, hubpages, weebly etc. As long as the article gets traffic from any other source, its fine.
