    Hi,

I would like to know how much link exchange can I do before it will be considered aggressive in google's eyes, it seems there is not much info on the web.

I would like to hear from anybody got penalized for link exchange.
    thanks in advance.

In my opinion, when a certain website or blog have lots of link exchanges which some of those links aren't even related to the website or blog's niche.

Google only talks about "excessive" link exchange - I assume that excessive means more exchanged than one-way-links, but nobody can tell you an exact number or percentage.

I think If you do link exchange on unmatched theme, then we can say its a aggressive link exchange.

More than enough, which means there is a pattern to be traced in the links you build. If google spots that you rely on a particular pattern too heavily, the corresponding adjustments are immediately imposed to make up for the manipulative practices.
