3000 / 4000 articles per campaign if the product converts well in 1000 hops. It's not a question of "How many articles" its rather about "How much you want to earn"
I understand its not a set number I just was wondering how many some of the other marketers here write when they promote a single product.
It's a numbers game really, the more you write the more traffic to your sites so it's not a question of "How many articles I should write" it's about how much you want to earn. Once you find a winner / a profitable niche stick to it, the sky is the limit. Well 3000 articles is quite an investment, I'm sure no one is able to write so many articles (not even within a year) that would be 10 articles a day which is a titanic workload but you know, you can always outsource the writing part.
I really like what you say. Initially I really got "con" about article marketing. Everyone's saying all you need is to write 1-2 articles/week and that's it, sit down and wait for money to pour in. I can say out loud that's not true! You really need to put in a lot of efforts in article marketing, the more the better. 3000 considered reasonable. I know some experts having 10000 and above articles. They basically dominate the niche with every possible keywords!
How many ever articles get you the income you want! But more is not better. you need to be wary of what keywords you are writing for. If you already have a decent number of hops from one keyword its time to move onto new keywrods!
Actually the money you make depends on the number of articles you write. Instead of writing 3000 articles for a single product in a niche, I would spread the articles on many products and niches so that if a niche or product performs badly it would be compensated by some well performing ones.
And what is a profitable niche?I am promoting a product with about 50 articles. And I am getting on an average 4 sales per month. It is more or less on auto pilot for the last couple of months. I am thinking of moving on to another product. Should I invest more articles on this product?
Obviously you can't write x,xxx articles too easily by yourself, but you should be able to write 5-10 daily without any issues. I've always been investing some of the money I've made back into my sites and never looked back because it's worth it, once you get the hang of how things are to be done then it's also worth investing some money to outsource the articles. 4 sales a month isn't bad (that can be $200 and even $400) if you've got a payout of $99 per sale - some products do It's up to you if you should move on with another product or not, I don't have all the details about your campaign to say of it's profitable or not. That's what we're looking for profit, rights? / Al.
I suggest you concentrate on quality, not just quantity. Yes, article marketing works, but it's best if your ezine articles are totally informational and not sales heavy in emphasis ("guide to widget blaster" type 'consumer' keywords), while your site should carry the strong pre-selling articles ("widget blaster review" or similar 'buying' keywords). This will keep your articles in directories from looking spammy.
I agree. Even if you do outsource articles, you should be able to feel comfortable in writing 5-10 articles on daily basis without it feeling like a difficult task.
@boscof It's called article marketing. There's various ways to do it properly. - Adding article to your website or landing pages is called "Adding Content", lets clarify this. Adding content to your blogs or sites is not Article Marketing, because some people been confused and send me PM with all sort of techniques that they use. - Distributing your content to various article directories, web. 2.0 property sites, web directories, publishing them on other blogs or press release sites is called Article Marketing and it's a very effective way to market anything online. Here's my thread on article marketing you might want to check out a few tips. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1842846 Al./
well, that I think will depend on the type of output you want. I think 5-10 article a week is enough. You can use free website articles to promote those articles. articlewritingclicks.com
