I have added a page few days back (on 13.07.07). Page is:http://www.webguru-india.com/logo-design.php , but still now it's not indexed by Google. However I got a quick index for another page of the same site (http://www.webguru-india.com/logo-history.php) within 2 days. Please let me know whats the exact reason behind this:confused: is there any way to get indexed quickly

It depends on the links pointing to the new page. The higher profile (pr and trust factor) of the page that links back to your new page, the quicker it will index.

If you get a couple deep links to that page I'm sure it will be indexed in a few days

I think you should be indexed in the next few days. But, I have had google take up to 2 weeks to inex some pages.

The question is not when or how soon Google indexes a page, it's more a matter of when they let you know they have indexed a page.. Chances are you are indexed several days before you are aware of it.. the cache on newly spidered an indexed sites is not updated daily, but as the other responses stated, the better the links pointing to your site, the quicker they will find you, but this does not mean you will know any sooner.

It just takes time for google to crawl the page. Like others said you could just point some links to it to speed things up.

Patience is the key - I keep repeating this to all. However, a good way for this be picked up is to link from homepage as well for a limited time.

Everytime I add a page I tend to get visitors from Google to that page the next day or the day after.. I put this down to using Google Sitemaps.

You might want to check this out if you are not using it allready

    Hope that helps

Hang on a minute, before i give you any advice.Your page is already indexed in google.

just for knowledge sake, Google bot visit your site often and indexes your new content. For a website having issues with indexing, sitemaps is a handy tool to get indexed.

am not if google gives any special importance to high PR sites but my blog gets indexed in less than 1 hrs after posting the article.

When you add the new content into your site, it should take time for Google to crawl the page.

If on each of your pages you don't link to every other page then you should use a sitemap. Also, remember that the google bot indexes at random, going from one link to another. So your link structure is important as it doesn't go back to your home page and then to the next link. It might even leave your site and follow an outbound link.

Sitemap is a useful tool but be sure to follow the google guidelines regarding that.

Thanks everybody, yeah the page has been indexed. I have watched it today but when i went to cached the date is showing 14.07.07  How its possible. Whereas I had been watching it in regular basis
That means Google can cached a page much before, after that it indexed a page
