Hi I know there is the ongoing debate about how important google PR is, but I do find that when I attempt to swap links with other sites one of the main reasons they say no is because they do not trade links with low PR sites (I swap with any relevant site as I know that today’s PR0 might be tomorrows PR6 especially if they keep up the link exchanging they are attempting to do). My question is how often do Google change the PR status of a site? Is it one big change once a quarter when all sites get reviewed or is it an ongoing process and just when they get around to your site they will rank you. I also know that with a link from a PR6 site it is possible to get into the Google directory in 1 day, does this mean my site would also get its PR calculated in a day?
http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html Google uses dmoz data on their directory. In order to be listed on the google directory, your site should be listed on open directory project.. tip: submit your site once and then forget.
