When does a referral count?

    When does a referral count as a conversion?
    - when a person has sent his details to Google for review;
    - when Google permits the person to take part in the programme;
    - or when the person has earned his first cents with AdSense?

    And when a conversion took place in January and the person clicked the referral in December, does the conversion count for December or January? I had a friend of mine sign up through my site in December and he started working with AdSense in January, but I don't see any conversion!

    Uhh oops, I knew about conversions, I meant 'subscriptions' (not really sure if it's called subscriptions, I have AdSense in Dutch, it's between CTR and conversions). Sorry. When does a subscription count? :eek:
