OUCH!!! Soon I hope. Two websites that were starting to pick up PR earlier today are now missing! Yep completely gone. Even running site:www.xxxx.com produces zero results!! Let's hope Google gets this one sorted out............. SOON!!!
yeah. rofl. one of my inner pages has a pr3 but not on toolbar yet. and all of the rest of the pages are still pr0
What i guess is that there is a major change in the Page Rank algorithm..... Same case with me . many sites of mine, 3 level deep pages got PR but the homepage is still 0.
i think Google is done with its TBPR update.. The pages which gained PR are showing it in Toolbar but tht didn't are just like tht.
I feel sorry for you that you've spend hundreds of $$ so that you can improve PR. This PR update is really weird. But I think Google have change their algo even better to trace links that are natural and links that are being paid. I just hope you will get some PR in the next PR update. Try to gather natural links more rather than buying links.
Book mark this post of mine and come back to reply when it comes true... There will be a complete new google PR update in February 2007 most probbably in the first two weeks. Any doubts? keep them to yourself till the last day of feb and we talk about it then if we have to Forgot to add >>> blogroll links and links in footer and site wide links are passe now they dont carry much advantage if any and the links in content ruleeeee Orignal content topped up with good quality and from relevant pages will take you to new heights as far as GOOGLE search engine is concerned.
For some sites, getting those "relevant" backlinks is easier said than done. Especially if it is a hyper-competitive field.
I think this one is about 80% - when I use the ezer live PR checking tool 3/20 data centers still need to be done. Matt Cutts mentioned in his blog that some of the older infrastructure would take longer to update, so these must be the remaining data centers. I'd like it to be finished this week some time.
Well I am sure its not done as I stated in another PR thread I have a site which went from PR0 to PR5 when checking the google datacenters yet still shows a PR0 in the tool bar meaning the data was not exported.....So if the update is done then why would google go through the trouble of making my sites new PR available through the datacenters but not finish exporting it to the tool bar.....nothing like doing thinkgs halfway lol
Well hopefully most of us are correct and the PR update is still in limbo I also have a 2 year old domain that a purchased a few months back which was a PR2 when I bought it and is still showing a PR2 even thought I now show almost 3 times as many backlinks in Google now as oppossed to when I bought it.
I have no idea, where you are all getting your info from, can't see any updates happening, one site predicts them to be around 28/jan
