Atm I've got about 100 clicks in the last 3 days from google adwords and sent about 40 of those (they are qualified) to the vendors page. I have a squeeze page and am pretty explicit that this is a product to buy and not a free site. So when I send a person to their site, they are not junk traffic. I'm thinking of dumping the vendor if I don't get a sale when I send about 100-150 people to their site. Is that too much? Too low? How many qualified people do successful vendors convert to buyers? I'm new to this but I guess that they SHOULD convert one out of 100. And your experience with this?
normally I use 300 clicks to guage whether it is a successful campaign or not but it depends on you though
I think that you are right... The decision could be based on commission per sale and spend on PPC etc And I think that my site could be called micro site and not a squeeze page, my mistake there
There are some sites/products in CB, even though we get 400 plus clicks, but result in 0 sales. Such a low conversion! For some products, the conversion is from 10 clicks.
Well I paused the campaign, so far it has cost me 11 dollars in Adwords. I'll test the "Health and fitness" now, on the method of comparing two products. I got the template and am writing a copy as we are speaking
it would depend on the visitor's buying mode wait for another 7 days about it. Not all people when they see the site will buy unless the sales letter is really attractive or compelling. also, remember that when you redirect the visitor to the affiliate page/hop link you are not guaranteed to get the commission if they don't have cookies enabled.
Rossdalangin I have never thought about that, thanks. I've seen that good vendors convert up to 1/20 of the pre-sold visitors sent to em. I'd like to find one like that
No problem. Also, consider the situation of your possible buyers. Sometimes, if teenagers don't have a credit card or paypal account. Another example is a high priced how to get a job ebook..how can they buy it if they don't have job at the first place. So examine first the sales page, price and target audience. You'll never know and sometimes confused why you don't have any sale. Regards, Ross
The site that I was promoting was http://www.tattoodesignpackage.com and as I'm looking at the sales page it really isn't very good piece of copywriting. I must put myself more into the shoes of the customer, I'd never think of the problems teenagers may have with buying if they are your target market...
