Now days i wake up 9:30 am because i am free. But when i have to go college i have to wake up at 8:30 am. And my sleeping time is 12:30 am daily when college open or not.
I usually go to sleep at 6 a.m and wake up at 3-4 p.m Have anyone tried this: http://dustincurtis.com/sleep.html ?
When I am in routine, I mostly sleep by 10 PM after saying my Isha prayers (the last prayers of the day) and wake in time for my Fajer prayers (the first prayers of the day) which is around 4 AM these days. If I don't have much work, I sleep for a while after saying my Fajer prayers as well. However, whenever I have more workload, I can often manage it better at night and stay up all night, sleeping after Fajer prayers and waking up in time for Zuhr prayers (mid-day prayers), which is around 3 PM. These days, we have Ramadan (the fasting month) and we need to have the fasting breakfast before saying the Fajer prayers, so I have to be up by 3:30 AM.
It is but natural that everybody has different timing of slipping and getting up. However, there is one saying , whichis practically important for everyone- " Early to bed and early to rise, that is the key to happiness, success and health". It really takes care of required length of sleep at proper timing. I have also heard and read that those who sleep for abnormally longer period or even shorter period have various physical ailments. So sleep nicely and enjoy life.
Sound sleep is the most essential requirement for healthy life. Mininum7-8 hours sleep every day is a must. Early sleeping and early getting up is considered healthy as per Ayurveda also. We need to develop such habit.
