Why not, I can see it in 2-3 years.

You can't expect a payment processor to come and support all countries. Different countries have different laws, and it will take time for them to appear in all countries.

Unfortunately I don't think Google will ever support even as many countries as paypal. More than just regulations, there are a lot of countries where the potential for fraud is just way too high for Paypal, Google and most other processors to want to deal with. I'm not sure what country you're specifically referring to, so I can't provide any information directly relevant to you, but on a global level, I would expect GCO to spread very slowly, starting with countries that already have well established processing industries.

I won't agree with you on this mate, Google checkout has Pakistan in its allowed list where PayPal thinks there is fraud risk. So if that is the reason Pakistan wouldn't be in GCO's allowed list. Also I could see few countries that have high fraud rates and are in Google Checkout's list.

Google currently accepts merchants only from the USA but has a longer country list than PayPal where buyers may reside. I mainly use PayPal but use GCO when the buyer is in a non PayPal country.
Every country has its own financial and legal regulations so it may be some time before Google accepts merchants in more countries.

You're absolutely right there, but buying and selling are two totally different things. Looking at it from the back-end, I still think that it will be unlikely to allow sellers from every country.

Yep! I just checked GCO and noticed that only 'USA' and 'UK' can have seller accounts which is pretty much odd because all other major countries have been neglected. I guess we all will have to wait till Google Checkout expands a bit.
