When Do You Decide That's A Non-profitable Keyword?
I've been testing keywords for a while. But when do you decide to delete a keyword that is not converting?

so how long do you test your keywords before you start to delete keywords that are not converting?

I usually test keywords for a week or so before bailing on them. It is quite a tough call however, so I would say the determining factor is whether or not the keyword is getting ANY results...

Usually after about 300-500 clicks without any or minimal sales, but that depends because I usually select keywords that have a decent amount off traffic monthly and if you use many long term keywords you can just stay withe the keywords that bring the most and later expand on other keywords and test them.

Most keyword tools give you statistics for a monthly volume, so I tend to give keyworks at least 30 day to prove their value. You never know, some keywords may be effective at certain times of the month.

I personally prefer pausing them and work out a strategy for better results...

After a day or two, lower your bid for keyword in the position 1,2,3 by 20%.
Raise your bid by 20% for keyword in position greater than 8. Raise another 15% for keyword in position greater than 12. The reason you do this to make sure all your keywords end in the front page.

After 1 month if the keyword (end in the first page) don't have even 1 click, then there's no point to keep it...just delete it.

But, if there's a few clicks, just lower the bid 10-15% (still end in the first page) before you decide to delete it.

If the keyword end in the position greater than 12, try to push it to front page before you decide to delete them.

For keywords that have a lot of clicks but cost you more (total commission/earn x 2 eg. $20 x 2 = $40), more than $40 in this example, i'll say delete it.

Just my opinion. All the best.
