I've been trying to figure out a good measure for when to apply to Google to allow you to put ad sense on your site.
i would wait till you start getting some decent traffic, but i guess theres no harm in applying as soon as you have your complete website up. a forum member who runs a mfa site was approved so i dont think google is all that picky
I put up ads as soon as I started my site, it wasn't even close to completed...but I thought "well if the site is online may aswell try and make a few extra cents"
I applied after around 20 days of starting a blog and was accepted under 2 hours. It was a blogspot blog.
So I'm thinking that a few more posts, maybe make sure I've got some table code going, and my blog will be ready for adsense.
i have been adviced to go for adsense as soon as u have decent amount of content 30 -40 posts for a blog is enough....i dont tink google really cares about ur traffic stats. But yes do make sure that ur site looks professional and nicely designed.good luck
Thanks. I'm currently mostly worried about the other sub-domains. I have my current blog Josh the Aspie's Blog under the same main domain as Josh the Aspie's Personal Homepage and Josh the Aspie's Trip to Italy. The first one is still very early in development (it's hard to find the time and energy to develop it since I have been assembling a computer and dealing with loads of other stuff I've been catching up with), and I haven't even started on the second. If I submit just the blog to Google, do you think they will include the other two with the rest of it? Oh, and how many comments would you say equal a post once it comes to content?
if your site is MFA, than you should at once apply for AdSense but if your site is something personal, i would suggest that you apply it a little later because visitors don't usually like staying at personal sites that is full of ads. the usual trend is traffic first before ads. i hope this helps.
I submitted my site like two days after I made it. I probably would have waited a little longer if I knew better, just to make sure I got in. But everything worked out fine.
I would suggest you to wait until you get a good regular traffic. Once you put the code, the long wait to reach the threshold is surely going to kill you. I found it difficult to wait for even 2 months.
Start up a nice looking site with good and original content and apply at once. Would be strange to wait. Dont miss income by waiting.
Mmm. Well I'm still working on the content on my blog. One thing that I haven't been able to find the answer too is whether Google will look at all of the sub domains if you submit just one, or if they will look at just the one sub-domain.
If you have content on your site and everything else looks right about it, i.e. links are fine, clean CSS, etc. then apply to Google immediately. Heck, they are always looking for new accounts. Look how easy they make it for Blogger/Blogspot folks to join!
"Decent Traffic" is not an approval factor, nor either having CSS, tables, or whatever layout design. Google only keeps in mind that you have a fully developed site with content and no broken links.
Well, I applied last week and actually good approved. I only had a single page worth of articles (though it was a split page) and they approved it! YAY!
