When do Google Update Rankings?

Hello,

I have just built some backlinks for some sites, around 40 per site were built
in about 2-3 weeks.

What I like to know is when Google will take the new backlinks into account for the new ranking caculation?

Is here anyone who can report experiences in that?

Generally Google updating PR on every 3 month but some time it is unexpected

 

are you talking about PR update or ranking update? these are NOT the same!

 

PR update generally is conducted after 2 to 3 months, most probably we will have a new update in jan 2010.

 

I am not asking about PR update! I am just interested in ranking updates.
Does anyone know something?

Your backlinks will be be taken into consideration when the bot has crawled the page that the links are on. That could be 10 minutes or 6 months.
