Have you ever been in the situation when you opened up your adwords account and saw the Costs of your campaign just could not believe what you see?
Well, this is exactly what happened to me. Two days ago I revised one of my ad groups and noticed the familiar message: “3 keyword(s) are currently inactive for search.”
I wanted to edit my bid to $0.30 but somehow accidentally I placed the bid for $30.00
Two days later I open up my account and I thought I am going to get a heart attack when I saw the cost of $451.82 for 44 clicks in two days.

To be honest I don’t know why I am posting this thread in this forum. May be I just would like to tell to someone, may be in deep I am just hoping that someone can give me an advice on what to do. But to tell you, right now I feel hopeless and I think I just simply lost $450.00 to Google. I know it is my fault but it was an honest mistake. I would never pay $30.00 for a click when I sell $10 to $20 worth of products.
Is there any solution in this situation?
    Thanks for reading. Laszlo

You should contact adwords support and explain them what happened. I've heard of some new adwords user getting partial refund.

Also pause your campaign, edit your bids and review everything before activating them again.

    Good Luck!

Could have been prevented by setting your max budget to a wise value. But yeah it sucks though I doubt Google will listen to stories like these.

At least you won't make that mistake again.

I just did the same thing on adcenter. I put 27 instead of .27 but I only ran up $125.00 before I realized it. Lucky I was really only paying $2.66 per click but hey I did get a .27 click from the adsense on the page. Oh well, live and learn, my mistake.

    One lesson :)
Google will not refund (imo) but contacting them will cost you nothing :)

    set your max bid carefully.

And use the "pause" option whenever you need!
