When did you learn that you can earn money using AdSense?

I only learned about it this month.

Nice questions! As per my idea, i was adviced by my friend a 6 months ago

 

2 months ago. I guess you can say I am a late bloomer.

 

I knew about it about 5 months ago but didn't had a really good website for it
because my website is in a language that google doesn't support it (new law - 2 months ago).
Now I have a website that is in the same language but with UTF-8 and I have google adsense on it (google knows about it)

 

I learned it some time ago, when I saw some old site with a strong PR6 and good traffic. The site was like 10 years old and about programming, but then later the owner decided he can make some money and started to add some other articles and ads.

He claimed to make $3000 first month he put adsense and around $1500-2000 at the time I read it.

I thought this is so cool, I can build a site work on it a little and few years later get a good income from it... I was very naive back then, thinking it would take so much time lol

 

When I found this forum, 6 months ago .

 

I learned back in 1998. Well it wasn't Adsense, it was ClickTrade. I posted JavaScript samples on my members.home.com page and added Clicktrade text ads and started making about $50 per month per sample (if I had two samples posted on my site, I'd bring in about $100 per month in click revenue). I got sidetracked with freelance work and ClickTrade by Microsoft's BCentral and I think it went away.

As far as Adsense goes, I got my first clicks around August 2003, I saw how I could make hundreds per month by January 2004 (own some high quality established sites) and figured out how it could make thousands per month by July 2005 (spend money advertising).

 

tbarr60, have you realized already how to make millions with adsense? lol

I wish I've started to make sites earlier too

Hello, do you use Adwords or other PPC egines to advertise your sites?

 

a year and a half ago.. i had to move my site to a dedicated server and was struggling to pay it directly from my salary, and one girl at the boards sent me the link to see if that could be helpful, my first thought was.. they are not gonna accept international users.. and when i read they did i could hardly believe it.. i signed up, and took me many months to receive my first check, but now i've learned a lot of things

 

I learned about making using Adsense about two years ago.
