    Hi Friends,
    I was wondering, When did you opened your first email account

    My First email account was opened in 1999 ?

    Please share about you all

    I was taken by my friend to internet cafe and he taught me and opened an account for me as same was done him by his friend

    My first HOTMAIL ACCOUNT I opened in 1999
    Then On my own I opened my YAHOO/REDIFF account in 2000
    & So on.......

    How about you ?

    It might be 1998 when i opened my first email account, and that time it will so proud that you hold email id on www, and now I have so many that I do not remb the even.

    i think it was 2002 when i first created my yahoo mail and it was also the time that i learned how to chat on mirc :D ..

    I got my email account in 1997. It was hotmail. I was 12.

    My brother got us all email accounts when he bought the family a computer and got internet. I was addicted to that thing. Internet was the best and worst thing that's ever happened to me!

    I have Gmail now. I got it in beta like probably everyone here. Gmail had like the most open beta I've ever seen.

    1998....I made a mistake and opened an account with yahoo.co.uk.....(I am in India)...

    I gave my address as yahoo.com to friends and kept wondering why I wasn't getting any mail....:eek:.

    I opened my first email account in 2002. It was with some strange email service that I don't even remember. After that I used Yahoo! Mail and it was good. :)

    1996 (the oldest one in this thread so far :D)

    my brother opened that email for me, it was with mailcity.com
    (which is now Lycos, even if you type mailcity.com you'll be redirected to lycos.com :)
